Scholarships: A form of financial aid, that does not need to be paid back and is awarded to students to help further their education. Scholarships are awarded based upon different criteria, such as academics, diversity and inclusion, athletics, financial needs, and community service.
We have local, Iowa, National, and random scholarship opportunities for students. At the beginning of senior year, students will receive an email with a spreadsheet of different scholarships. Scholarship Spreadsheet link 26-27 . A few notes about this spreadsheet:
This is put together by area school counselors as we are notified/learn of scholarships. It is not all inclusive!
Check back often, as it is a live link that will be updated as we are notified of new scholarships!
Make sure you are clicking on the 26-27 school year tab! (you could look at past years to see if there is something we missed adding)
Pay attention to qualifications before you apply!
Shenandoah Uniform Scholarship: A meeting regarding the uniform scholarship will be in early December. Please be listening/watching for announcements. This will also be given in paper form and posted on the senior google classroom. Let me know if you have questions! Don't wait til the last minute! The deadline for 2027 is January 29th at 3:30 p.m. (links will be added when updated)
