Station Rotation 

Session Description

This session will explore how to plan, develop, and implement small group learning into a secondary classroom. Elementary schools and teachers already know the benefits of small group instruction, but the practice often disappears in secondary schools. This session will introduce secondary teachers to the planning of a standard focused station rotation lesson into their classroom. The session includes items such as: classroom setup, setting clear expectations, exploring different station concepts, integrating technology, and implementing informal assessments. Teachers can expect to see station learning in action through a classroom case study.
