Mrs. Howton is starting her tenth year at Oak Mountain Middle School after serving as a Librarian at Pinson Elementary School in Jefferson County for three years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor’s Degree in Collaborative Education from Samford University.
Mrs. Howton has a husband, a little girl, and a Schnoodle (schnauzer poodle) puppy dog. She loves to sew, quilt, bake, sing, dance, and of course…read!
Mrs. McCaleb is starting her third year at Oak Mountain Middle School after teaching 8th Grade Science at Pizitz Middle School in Vestavia for 9.5 years. She holds a Master's Degree in Library Media from The University of West Alabama and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary General Science from Auburn University. (War Eagle!)
Mrs. McCaleb has a husband, two little boys (6.5 & 5 years old), and two cats. She loves to cook, bake, watch anime, read, and hang out with her family!
