About Me

I graduated from Auburn University in May 2017 with a Bachelors Degree in Collaborative Special Education (K-12) and a minor in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies. I have also earned my Master's degree in Special Education (6-12) from the University of West Alabama. After completing my undergraduate degree, I moved to Uganda for 6 months to work with the Acholi people group, train teachers, and advocate for people with disabilities. My husband and I were married in December 2021 and we had our first baby in December 2022.  I love reading, exercising, traveling, and drinking lots of coffee! This is my sixth year at CMS and I couldn't imagine working at a better school!
