Yellowhammer
Book
Award

EHES was selected to participate in the elementary level voting process for a new state book award called the Yellowhammer Book Award!

K-3rd classrooms should read at least 7 out of 10 of the book contenders before voting,
which will open up on March 1st.

More information on the voting process will be available in later February!

Ways to Read the Books

Watch each book read aloud video (linked under the Read Aloud Videos section below).

Teachers may check out one book at a time to read to their class if there are any that you'd rather read in person to your group instead of watching on video.

Invite a special/mystery guest reader to come in and read aloud one of the stories. (I can check out the book to the teacher in this case.)
