Most days my students will not have any assigned homework, but there are always things they can work on.  

• Math facts - multiplication & division

• States and capitals -  

• Spelling & vocabulary words - weekly tests

• Reading for stamina - 5th grade students should be able to read independently for at least 20 minutes 

• Writing complete sentences that start with a capital letter and end with a punctuation mark.  The sentence should make sense. 

•  Achieve  & ZEARN are the online programs we will use weekly.  5th grade students will have goals to meet in each of these programs.  They will have time at school to work on them, but are allowed to work on them at home too.
