Throughout the year, I work to identify and form small groups of students. These are built around an identified need and tailored to the age/needs of the students. Students are only placed in these groups with parent permission. A few examples are below.
Making a new friend.
Resolving conflict with a friend.
Respecting the personal space of others.
Learning appropriate school behaviors.
Helping students process and communicate their feelings.
Helpings students remember their loved one and move forward after a loss.
Helping students understand divorce, separation, remarriage, and other family changes.
Giving students a place to share their feelings.
Helping students understand adoption and foster care.
If you feel your student could benefit from any of these supports, please contact me via phone or email.
