Passion Classes take place every third Friday, allowing students to explore interests that may lead to careers, lifelong hobbies, and/or in areas that ignite a passion for learning.
Exhibitions and Defenses of Learning
Every student Kindergarten through 5th grade takes part in real-world Exhibitions of Learning. Every 5th grade student also takes part in a Defense of Learning to provide evidence of their readiness for middle school.
Clear Creek Elementary cultivates a culture of learning that ensures students' have identities as readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and historians. An emphasis is placed on building reading stamina and living a writerly life through the use of the writer's notebook.
