Final year PhD Student in Urban and Environmental Economics @ the University of Sheffield and Scholar @ the Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures.Â
My interests lie in urban and environmental economics, as well as international trade and economic history. I'm currently researching the interplay between residential energy efficiency improvements and urban property markets. I use this setting to explore how such improvements affect - and are affected by - one's neighbours and how this subsequently shapes urban property markets in a general equilibrium framework. Much of my work draws on techniques from urban economics to answer environmental research question. I'm currently working on two grant-funded projects related to renewable technologies and their impacts on local economic activity.
Outside of research, I'm an avid coder and have a number of freelance projects producing data products for clients in the public and charity sector using my skills in Python, DAX, GIS, Stata and LaTeX.
I'm to finish my PhD in April 2025 and I'm currently looking for PostDoc positions in any of the aforementioned fields, or fields related to applied micro.
