Summer of 360 is a 2023 project for Geography and Urban Studies & Planning students to help build a library of 360 content. By taking part you can build on your existing digital and employability skills, while helping create content that can be used in future teaching and marketing opportunities in your department. No prior knowledge or equipment is required as everything will be provided. As a reward for your involvement, we will give you a choice of an Amazon or Beanies £20 voucher when you contribute images or videos. Click on the image to the left to see an example of Weston Park in 360, taken in May 2023. For more 360 images and videos, check out the 360 Gallery page.
360 photography is a technique that captures a full 360-degree view of a scene or environment, creating a seamless, spherical or cylindrical image that can be viewed from any angle. It allows users to explore and interact with the entire surroundings, providing an immersive and interactive experience that can be viewed on computers, smartphones, or using virtual reality (VR) headsets. The University has a lot more information on the 360 media guidance pages.
