University of Sheffield
Connect with Erik on LinkedIn (hyperlink)
Dr Erik Resendiz Mora graduated at Instituto Politécnico Nacional in 2006 with a BSc in Chemical Engineering and went on to complete a MEng at UNAM in 2010 in Chemical Engineering with focus in Process Engineering. Early in his career he worked for several years in the services sector as a Process Engineer for large EPC firms and later he moved to work in Oil & Gas industry as a consultant, specialising in the Process Simulation area. He moved to the UK in 2017 to pursue a PhD in the University of Leeds with a project focused on the modelling of adsorptive reactors for sustainable production of hydrogen.
Upon completion of his PhD, Dr Erik Resendiz Mora joined the Research & Development department of Aspentech in Mexico City for couple of years, during this time he oversaw the improvement of equation oriented based products like Aspen BatchSep/Aspen Adsorption and contributed to the development of new features for the sustainability offer of Aspen Plus.
He recently joined the Brown Research Group at the University of Sheffield and is collaborating with the SuMMa project conducting research related to the modelling and optimisation of the manufacturing chain of CAM through a flow reactor technology.
