This workshop, the second in series of Sheffield Spatial Ecology Workshops, aims to forge new interdisciplinary links between the communities of empirical ecologists and mathematical ecologists who work on animal movement and emergent patterns of space use. It is aimed at both empirical ecologists wanting to explore how mathematical models and techniques may help answer their research questions and mathematical ecologists wanting to apply their techniques to new ecological questions and data.
All delegates will give a short talk about their work, explaining how it might benefit from new collaborations at the mathematics/ecology interface. Each delegate will also have a dedicated opportunity to lead a focused discussion about their topic with fellow attendees.
Dates. 11th-14th July 2023
Venue. The University of Sheffield, Sheffield, S10 2TN; Alfred Denny Conference Room
The workshop is currently full. If you want to be put on a reserve list, in case anyone pulls out, please please contact us.
