Varsity Oath Competition

We are asking sports teams from Team Hallam and the University of Sheffield to work together during Varsity to create a photo representation symbolising what the Varsity Oath of Pride, Respect, Fair Play and Sportsmanship means to their sport. To enter the Varsity Oath Competition you must do the following before 27 April.

1. Take a photo with the other team from your fixture.

2. Post to Facebook alongside a message of how you demonstrated the Varsity oath.

3. Tag Sheffield Varsity Facebook page.

Once all of the entries have been submitted, sports officers from both Students’ Unions, Josh and Flo, will decide on the top five. Then, it's over to the spectators to pick the winning entry. You vote by liking 'Sheffield Varsity' on Facebook, and from 27 April you'll be able to use the poll to vote for your favourite representation of the Varsity Oath.

The winner will be announced 2 May.

First prize: £1,000 split between both university teams

Runner up prize: club leisurewear or team kit for both university teams up to the value of £500 (featuring the Interserve logo).
