A Moth is a class of single handed sailboat that uses hydrofoils to significantly increase its speed.  Through this cutting-edge engineering a Moth can reach speeds of over 40 mph.

However, current materials and manufacturing techniques used in the industry are extremely detrimental to the environment. Therefore this project aims to re-produce the performance of a Moth sailboat using sustainable manufacturing techniques and materials.
