Hello! I’m Nidhi. Being a registered dentist from India, I secretly enjoy making people laugh and love noticing their smiles. As an international student, I have closely observed the complex mental health issues faced by my peers while adapting to the new environment and getting accustomed to university life. This motivated me to actively engage in this research which helps to not only understand the mental health and wellbeing of students but also assess the usefulness of the measures required to assist them. I am hoping to contribute to this project by making a small yet meaningful impact.

Hi! I’m Max, as you can see, I’m a student of English Literature currently in my third and final year. When I’m not studying or advising research projects, you’ll most likely find me at the cinema, or in bed. Approaching the end of my three years in Sheffield, I can definitively say that the SHARE Project has presented me with one of the most exciting opportunities I’ve had yet (no sarcasm!). I’m looking forward to helping the project break down some of the cultural and gendered barriers in the way people perceive mental health and wellbeing.

Hello! I'm Brendy, a penultimate-year Psychology student. I'm passionate about working in mental health and aspire to specialise in clinical psychology. Joining the SHARE team, I’m interested in learning how mental health is experienced and perceived differently across different demographics. I also look forward to contributing to the improvement of support services for university students.

Hello! I’m Molly. I graduated from Liverpool John Moore’s University in 2023 with a first class psychology degree and hope to specialise in clinical psychology. Before this project I was already interested in student mental health, having based my dissertation on this. Toward the end of my degree, I was successful in gaining a position in the Student Mental Health, Counselling and Therapies Service at The University of Sheffield. It is a real privilege to have the opportunity to work on the SHARE project alongside such a fantastic team and make a contribution, albeit a small one, to something that is so important.
