The student printing service is known as the pre-pay printing system or printing and copying management system (PCMS). Students send jobs to a printer then use print release stations to print their work. You can print to student printers from University computers or from your own laptop or desktop computer at home.
Print costs
Printing costs money. Your print balance is held on your UCard and costs are deducted every time you print. Black and white costs 5p per sheet; colour is 25p. Costs are doubled for A3. We don't charge extra for duplex so it's more cost effective to print on both sides.
You're given £2 credit to start with but you may need to add money to your online printing account. To do this, go to myPrinting Account in MUSE and click the web credit link. The minimum top up amount is 20p. You will need a VPN connection to access your printing account to top up your print credit if you are not on campus.
