You will receive a digital transcript of your results in early December of your final year via our secure online Gradintelligence system. You don’t need to take any action in order to receive your transcript.
You can continue to use Gradintelligence after you graduate to give others (e.g. employers) permission to view your transcript, which provides official evidence of your postgraduate achievements.
If you don’t already have a Gradintelligence account set up by us, we’ll create one for you. You’ll receive a notification email from edocs@sheffield.ac.uk once your document is available.
If this is your first Gradintelligence document, you’ll need to activate your account and create a username and password in order to access your transcript. The email, and on-screen activation instructions, will guide you through this process.

Final degree results are released online and also via the HEAR. All students can download these documents if they require an informal transcript. If an official transcript is required then you will need to apply online via the link above. Anyone applying for a postgraduate clinical course will be asked to provide a statement regarding their BPS accreditation - this statement can only be obtained by contacting the department directly.
Former students may request a certified copy of their degree certificate from the Student Administration Service (for which a small charge is made). Click here for more information.
Departments are required to retain all material submitted for the purpose of summative assessment for a period of up to the graduation of the student. Examination papers will then be archived for a further year after graduation. Coursework submitted to turnitin is retained with the provider according to the regulations of that provider.
Where a student has made an appeal, the assessed work should be retained for six years following the conclusion of the appeal, along with other records relating to the appeal.
