The British Psychological Society (BPS) is a charity that represents Psychology and psychologists in the UK. Its aim is to support and enhance the development and application of psychology for the greater public good, setting high standards for research, education, and knowledge, and disseminating knowledge to increase the wider public awareness of psychology and its importance.
The BPS offers memberships to all students who are currently studying on an undergraduate degree or conversion course which is accredited by the Society. This includes the Undergraduate Psychology degree at the University of Sheffield.
