Meet the producer
Julia Letts is a freelance consultant specialising in oral history, audio production and podcasts. After studying history at Oxford and training in journalism, she worked as a BBC reporter and producer until 2002. Since then, she has recorded over 1000 oral history interviews and managed several podcasting projects for heritage and academic institutions. Her work includes BBC’s The Century Speaks and multiple audio exhibits and tours for museums and heritage sites, using innovative formats such as audio posts, mobile downloads, and interactive trails.
