Use myPublications to record information about your other research-related activities, such as:
membership of editorial boards, funding panels, peer review colleges, academic or professional bodies
journal reviewing and refereeing
conference and event organisation
presentations, invited talks, keynotes, and plenaries
honorary and visiting positions or secondments
prizes and awards
media activity
other public engagement activities
Recording this information consistently is helpful for our REF preparations, but it's also a useful record for your own CV, promotion applications, grant applications, and for funder-mandated systems such as Researchfish.
Professional activities can only be added manually. Go to My Profile > My Work > Professional activities and click the large + button. Choose the required type and enter as much information as possible.
If you have previously created a similar record, such as the same presentation at a different event, then you can use that record as the basis for a new one. Simply find the record and click create copy to generate a new pre-populated record.
