The Reporting Hub is a central home for reporting functionality within myPublications. To access the Reporting Hub click the graph icon in the left-hand menu.
There are three types of reports:
Data extracts generate CSV files (tabular data files compatible with Excel). They are great for exporting a table of data, such as a list of outputs for a set of researchers during a specific time period, providing easy access to potentially large datasets for further use in tools such as Excel.
Formatted reports generate paged formatted reports such as Word and PDF files. They are great for producing textual reports such as CVs, or for regular reporting where tables or graphs are needed.
Dashboards are customisable, interactive visualisations of data. They are great at quickly conveying summary information about any type of available information, providing filtering, drill-up and drill-down interactivity to explore data, and providing the ability to extract summary data.
Some reports are stock reports that ship with the software, while others are designed by Research Services. If you need a particular report which is not currently available, then email myPublications@sheffield.ac.uk.
Use a combination of the filters to the right and the search box at the top of the page to find a report.
You will only be able to see reports for which you have been given access.
Run a report using the RUN button. You may be prompted to specify a date range or department to report on, or to choose your preferred format (e.g. PDF).
Add reports to your favourites list using the heart icon.
