Exciting news from the National Biofilms Innovation Centre!
The short film Dr Alison Buxton and NBIC partner Katherine Fish made for Maker{Future}’s Think Like An Engineer initiative, funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering, is now featured on the NBIC webpage.
The NBIC is an interdisciplinary institute that works to create scientific and technological breakthroughs that focus on biofilms. Biofilms are a collective of microorganisms and recent research shows that they can be treated as a new material.
We’d like to thank NBIC for featuring Maker{Futures} and highlighting the importance of connecting projects like #ThinkLikeAnEngineer to wider research.
