We are really excited that the 'Informal sport and leisure, urban space and social inequalities' special issue of Leisure Studies (2024, Vol 43, Issue 6) which has been guest edited by Sarah, Bonnie, Clare and Keith guest edited is now out. This special issue is closely related to the Just Turn Up project and was being edited at the same time as the Just Turn Up research project was being put together so the two have very much influenced each other. Covering a range of informal sports, themes and issues across different international contexts, the articles make fascinating reading.
