I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in the School of Economics, at the University of Sheffield. I have a BA in Economics from the University of Delhi, a MA in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, and a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Riverside.
Research areas: Applied Econometrics, Labour Economics, Economics of Education
My research focuses on:
Labour market inequalities in the distribution of wages and earnings, with a focus on gender-based disparities;
Socioeconomic inequalities and early years’ development of children, with focus on child poverty; and
School to work transition for adolescents and young people, with an interest in ethnicity-based disparities.
