Practical Info

How to get to Sheffield: the nearest big airport near Sheffield is Manchester International (MAN), which has flights to many European cities. It takes an hour train journey to get to Sheffield from the Manchester Airport. Another option is London airports such as Heathrow (LHR) and Gatwick (LGW). It takes two to three hours to get from London to Sheffield by train.

All talks will take place in Lecture Theatre A, Hicks Building, South East Wing Block, Hounsfield Road, Sheffield, S3 7RH at the University of Sheffield. 


The drinks and Canapé reception on 29th June, will take place in the Discovery rooms in the fifth floor of the Students' Union, adjacent to the Hicks building.
