Past Meetings

The Fickle Heart series of events began with a month-long work programme at the Isaac Newton Institute in Cambridge, back in 2019. This event had the aim of bringing together researchers from statistics and cardiac modelling communities, and the outcomes were published as a special issue of Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A.

The programme included:

• A two day workshop at the Newton Institute (videos of most talks available - see bottom of linked page)

• An industrial engagement day organised with the Newton Gateway (videos of many talks available)

After a short break due to covid, we ran a follow-up workshop in 2024, also in Cambridge (also with many talk videos available) , with more of an emphasis on the concept of digital twins.
