11th triennial conference

Connectivity and diversity in music cognition

ESCOM is pleased to announce its 11th triennial conference held 28-31 July 2021.


The aim of the conference is to provide an interdisciplinary and intercultural platform for the dissemination of most recent developments in music cognition research. To offer inclusivity to researchers whilst limiting the resource implications of this international gathering, the conference is organised across multiple hubs.

Organising hub:

Music, Mind, Machine research centre, The Department of Music, The University of Sheffield

Participating hubs:

Hubs are so far planned in Azerbaijan, Finland, India, Israel, Tallinn, South Africa.

Call for participating hubs:

Conference hubs may differ in size contributing one or multiple days to the conference.
