Heartificial's goal was to design and build a total artificial heart replacement and compete in the Heart Hackathon. Their student-led interdisciplinary venture was committed to advancing cardiac health through innovation and collaboration and this project had the potential to make a real difference in the world of healthcare.

Project Solotron was a research-and-design-only project that explored the feasibility of converting an aircraft engine to run on hydrogen fuel. The eventual goal was to design a hydrogen-powered piston engine for light aircraft and a safe testing system for the engine.
SuMoth is an internationally renowned hydro-foiling sailboat competition. Student teams from around the world aim to sustainably design, build and race these cutting-edge sailboats on Lake Garda, Italy. The team was working on their designs for their competition.
