Sheffield is at the heart of the railway network. Regular services operate between Sheffield and London St. Pancras (from just over 2 hours), Birmingham (1.25 hours), Leeds (1 hour) Manchester (1 hour) and Nottingham (1 hour).
There is a direct link from the railway station to the Sheffield Station Supertram stop via the main overbridge.
By Car
By Car
Park and ride is the most convenient way to get to the University if you're arriving in Sheffield by car.
If you're arriving by car, two car parks are conveniently located:
- Durham Road is at the Western Bank end of the city campus
- Solly Street, which may be more convenient if you are visiting the Broad Lane or Mappin Street areas. Spaces can be pre booked at either car park.
