All training activities, including lectures, individual study, tutorials, and student talks will take place in the Hicks Building on the main University of Sheffield campus. The main campus is located towards the west of Sheffield city centre (arrow on the left), a 25 minute walk or tram journey from the train station (arrow on the right). A campus map can be found here. Accommodation will be provided in the Jonas Hotel, in the heart of the Endcliffe residences, which is a 20 minutes walk from the Hicks Building.
Arrival: Arrivial is on the 26th August. Check in is from 3pm, but if you arrive before this, you can leave your bags securely at the hotel and come back later. The reception desk is open 24/7, so you can check in late if needed. The easiest way to get to the hotel from the train station is using a taxi or Uber. You could take a bus as well (there are several options, depending on when you arrive - please check with Google Maps or alternative apps).
Departure: The school ends on the 7th September at 12:30.
