The PHEM-B toolbox consists of a decision framework to help choose appropriate methods and a description of the methods.
Academics from a range of disciplines including health economic modelling, systems engineering, health psychology, sociology, behavioural economics, complexity science and public policy have developed this toolbox of methods for incorporating the influences on Behaviour into Public Health Economic Models (PHEM-B) [version 1] to help better inform policy decisions.
This work was funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR301406). The views expressed are those of the authors and not necessarily those of the NIHR or the Department of Health and Social Care. For further details about the methods used to develop the toolbox and a list of all authors please see the published journal article.
