Scholarship money awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners and a "Public's Choice" winner in the Video, Graphic Design, and Visual Art categories! The theme of this scholarship is TRUST! The Gates Scholarship
The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to exceptional student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.

Nike KSI Scholarship Program!
The Nike KSI Scholarship Program is designed to empower young leaders who currently attend a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI).
Scholars are selected based on merit. Award amounts range from $5,000 to $10,000, based on demonstrated financial need.
Eligibility Requirements
Must be of Hispanic heritage
Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university that is officially designated as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) – as defined by the Higher Education Act of 1965. For more information, visit the US Department of Education NCES list.

Build A Better Future Scholarship

The Hagan Scholarship
The Hagan Scholarship is life-changing! The scholarship provides up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters, providing recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free! Recipients graduating college while in the Hagan Scholarship Program can apply to extend their scholarship for up to 4 additional semesters to attend graduate school.
Basic Eligibility Requirements:
Must graduate from a public, private, charter, magnet, or STEM high school
Must have achieved a 3.5 GPA
Must enroll in an eligible college or university the first semester following graduation
Must maintain a 4 year or less graduation schedule
Must work 240 hours prior to commencement of the fall semester in college

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
The Jackie Robinson Foundation perpetuates the memory of Jackie Robinson by providing generous four-year scholarships and comprehensive support services to highly motivated college students with financial needs to ensure their success and further develop their leadership potential.

Future Educator Scholarship Application
The South Harrison Education Association is excited to offer two, $300 Future Educator Scholarships to graduating seniors who intend on pursuing a degree in education. The intent is to award one scholarship to a senior at each of our high schools (CCHS and SCHS). However, if there are no applicants from one of the high schools, SHEA reserves the right to award the scholarships to two students from the same high school. In addition, while not a requirement, preference will be given to applicants who have a parent who is a member of SHEA.

C. Eugene Cato Memorial Scholarship Nominations
Each year, a minimum of 12 seniors are chosen from applicants throughout the state to receive a $2,500 scholarship for their high school accomplishments. These recipients are Indiana's brightest stars, and they embody everything that is right about high school spirit. These well-rounded, positive role models have demonstrated excellence in academics, school and community involvement, character, sportsmanship, and citizenship.
Scholarship Criteria:
During the 2023 - 2024 school year, you must be enrolled and participate in at least one interscholastic athletic at an IHSAA member school.
You must be a senior at the IHSAA member school who will graduate during the school year for which the award is being applied for.
You must have won a varsity letter as an athlete in at least one of the 22 IHSAA-sanctioned athletic programs.
You must be nominated by the principal or athletic director.
You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent.
You must have no violations of your school's athletic code of conduct.
If you would like to be considered to represent CCHS as the Cato Memorial Scholarship nominee, please complete the form by December 18, 2023.
Once a nominee is chosen, you will be notified to complete the application.

Harrison REMC Scholarship
Each year, Harrison REMC offers a $1,500 scholarship to one student from each participating high school. This is open to high school seniors whose parents/guardians are served by Harrison REMC. Applicants must be attending full time (12 credit hours) for the fall 2024 semester. They must also be attending a college or university located within the Indiana counties of Clark, Floyd, Harrison as well as Jefferson County in Kentucky.

Indiana Teaching Scholarships
Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship
Next Generation Hoosier Minority Educators Scholarship
The Indiana Commission for Higher Education is currently accepting applications for the Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship and the Next Generation Hoosier Minority Educators Scholarship, which provide up to $40,000 of financial aid to aspiring teachers.
High-achieving high school and college students who plan to teach in Indiana for at least 5 years can receive up to $10,000 per year of college (up to $40,000) from the scholarship.
To qualify for either scholarship, students must meet one of the following academic requirements:
Rank in the top 20% of their high school graduating class OR
Have a top 20th percentile score on the ACT (25) or SAT (1190) OR
Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Horatio Alger Scholarship for High School JUNIORS

NPC Centennial Scholarship
The NPC Centennial Scholarships are named in honor of the NPC Foundation's Centennial Fund. The NPC Foundation's mission is to support NPC priorities and initiatives to enhance the sorority experience, including scholarship programs like this one.

One letter of recommendation indicating a commitment to high academic achievement, school and community involvement

Indiana Senior Scholarship Program & Student-View Scholarship Program
The 2024 Student-View Scholarship Program is offering over $14,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community/junior college, or career school. The program includes:
One $10,000 scholarship
Two $1,000 scholarships
Five $500 scholarships
All Indiana seniors who apply for the Student-View Scholarship will also be automatically entered into the drawing for the new $500 Indiana Senior Scholarship.

Interested in pursuing an education and career in Criminal Justice? This year is the 44th year the Indiana Sheriffs' Association is offering this Scholarship Program. They will be awarding forty (40) $750 scholarships to qualifying students!

Scholarship Requirements:
The recipient must be a graduating senior or in his/her final year at an IHSAA member school
The recipient must be planning to attend post-secondary education (4 year college, 2 year college, trade/technical school) in Indiana.
The recipient must be a 1st Generation family member to attend post-secondary education.
It is preferred the recipient be a multi-sport athlete and earned a varsity letter in at least two (2) different IHSAA sports.
It is preferred the recipient played at least one (1) IHSAA sport during each year of high school.
The recipient must show teamwork, leadership, and good character.
It is preferred the recipient was a member of the school's Student Leadership Council/Group.

Amy Hasbrook Family Leadership Award
Two $1,000 Scholarships Available!
Scholarship Criteria:
The female student-athlete must be a senior at an IHSAA member school who will graduate during the 2023 - 2024 school year. The student-athlete must be planning to attend post-secondary education (4 year college, 2 year college, trade/technical school).
The student-athlete will need to submit a short essay explaining goals and plans for the future, as well as achievements, setbacks, and character skills. A letter from the school principal or athletic director is also welcome.
The student-athlete must demonstrate a strong work ethic, leadership, and selfless dedication to the team and school.
The student-athlete is not required to be an exemplary student but must be in good standing regarding academic requirements to participate in athletics within the school and demonstrate an appreciation for academics.
This is a one-time $1,000 scholarship awarded to the selected female, student-athlete for post-secondary expenses.

David Cranfill Truehearted Teammate Award
One $1,000 scholarship for a male and one $1,000 scholarship for a female!
Scholarship Criteria:
During the 2023 - 2024 school year, the student-athlete must be a senior enrolled and participating in interscholastic athletics at an IHSAA member school.
The student-athlete does not need to be an exemplary student but must be in good standing with regard to academic requirements to participate in athletics within the school and demonstrate an appreciation for academics.
The student-athlete does not need to be the best athlete. But they do need to show an abundance of selfless dedication to making the entire team better. That is the student-athlete who by their mere presence instantly makes the entire team stronger.
The student-athlete must have no violations of his/her school's athletic code of conduct.
The student-athlete must be planning to attend post-secondary education (4-year college, 2-year college, trade/technical school).
This is a one-time $1,000 scholarship awarded to selected students.
Scholarship money will be paid directly to the student for post-secondary education expenses.

IHSAA Sparks Foundation Scholarship
Two $1,000 Scholarships Available!
Scholarship Criteria:
The recipient must be a graduating senior or in his/her final year at an IHSAA member school.
The recipient must be planning to attend post-secondary education (4-year college, 2-year college, trade/technical school) in Indiana.
The recipient must be a first-generation family member to attend post-secondary education.
The recipient must show teamwork, leadership, and good character.
It is preferred the recipient be a multi-sport athlete and earned a varsity letter in at least two (2) different IHSAA sports.
It is preferred the recipient played at least one (1) IHSAA sport during each year of high school.
It is preferred the recipient was a member of the school’s Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and/or attended the IHSAA Student Leadership Conference (SLC).
Recipients will be selected by the IHSAA Foundation Scholarship Committee (which includes the IHSAA Commissioner and IHSAA Foundation President).
This is a one-time scholarship awarded to the selected recipients.
Scholarship money will be paid directly to the student for postsecondary expenses.

Lee Lonzo Champions Together Scholarships
Two $1,000 Scholarship Available!
Scholarship Criteria:
1. Nominations will be submitted as a pair from the same IHSAA Member-School.
2. Recipients must be planning to attend post-secondary education (4-year college, 2-year college, trade/technical school) at some point in the next four years.
3. Recipients must have participated in their schools Champions Together program for at least two (2) years.
4. Recipients will be one (1) Unified Athlete and one (1) Unified Partner.
5. Recipients must use the award within 48 months of winning the award.
6. Recipients must show team spirit, leadership, and character.
7. Recipients will be selected by the IHSAA Foundation Scholarship Committee (which includes the IHSAA Commissioner and IHSAA Foundation President), and the Lee Lonzo Family representative(s).
8. These scholarship awards will be presented annually at the Champions Together Awards Luncheon.
9. This is a one-time scholarship awarded to the selected recipients.
10.Scholarship money will be paid directly to the student for postsecondary expenses.

Parker Amet Unified Sports/Champions Together Scholarship
Scholarship Criteria:
1. Recipient must be a Unified Partner Athlete.
2. Recipient must be a graduating senior from an IHSAA member school.
3. Recipient must have participated in the Champions Together program for at least two (2) years (2 years = Sr./Jr., not just 2 unified sport seasons in 1 year).
4. Recipient must show team spirit, leadership, sportsmanship, and character.
5. Recipient must be planning to attend post-secondary education (4-year college, 2-year college, trade/technical school) in Indiana and demonstrate a financial need.
6. It is preferred the recipient participated in both Unified Flag Football and Unified Track and Field.
7. Selection criteria may include, but not require, whether the recipient is a 1st generation family member to attend post-secondary education.
8. Recipient will be selected by the IHSAA Foundation Scholarship Committee (which includes the IHSAA Commissioner and IHSAA Foundation President).
9. This scholarship award will be presented annually at the IHSAA Champions Together Awards Luncheon or at the recipient’s senior scholarship awards program.
10. This is a one-time scholarship award for the selected student.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholarships!
Eligibility:
Must be of Hispanic heritage
U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA
Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students
Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the U.S., for the 2024-2025 academic year
Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable)

2024 MAC Construction Scholars Program
Mac Construction & Excavating, Inc is offering scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing a higher education in the construction industry (Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology).
Up to 5 scholarships will be awarded to local area students in the amount of $1,000 per year for a maximum of 4 years. This scholarship is renewable.
Applications are in Mrs. Kennedy's office and due back to MAC Construction by April 5, 2024.
Tri Kappa Scholarship
The Beta Chi Chapter of Tri Kappa is proud to offer TWO $750 scholarships for the class of 2024. Tri Kappa is a philanthropic sorority based in Indiana.
Requirements Include:
3.5 GPA or higher
Acceptance into a college or university
At least 5 completed community service hours
Involvement in at least one school extracurricular activity
Completion of a one-page essay
Completed application
Applications can be picked up in Mrs. Kennedy's office.
