Music Classroom Rules And Expectations

MUSIC CLASSROOM RULES/EXPECTATIONS

·         Be prepared with all required materials (folder, notebook, pencil) (recorder/recorder book) ("Fab Five" for students in grades 4 & 5) 

·         Sit in assigned spot  using SLANT

·         Listen to the speaker (TRACK)

·         Participate with a positive attitude 

·         Use non-verbal signals during teaching and learning  

·         Follow directions 

·         Keep your body and voice in control while facing forward 

·         Follow attention signals (Stop, Look, Listen/Tambourine Sound)

·         Use the Golden Rule…”Treat others the way you want to be treated!”

·         Sit up

·         Listen

·         Ask and answer questions
