Welcome Letter

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! My name is Ms. Banitt, and I will be your child’s First Grade teacher! I am excited to start my eleventh year of teaching at Seven Hills Preparatory Academy! Prior to teaching here, I taught two years of First Grade at Randolph Elementary in Randolph, Minnesota, and also spent three years teaching Preschool in Randolph, MN, and Woodbury, MN. 

I am originally from Cannon Falls, MN. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) from St. Catherine University in 2011. I graduated, once again, from St. Catherine University in 2023 with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction (along with certificates in Culturally Relevant Teaching and Special Education for the Regular Education Classroom Teacher).

I currently live in Richfield with my husband, Sean, and our two cats and two dogs! In my spare time, I like to hang out with family and friends. I also like to read, and spend as much time outdoors as I can (hiking, gardening, etc.)! I’m so excited to get to know your student and your family!
