Supervisor Guidelines: SHS – Natural Dye Workshop

1. Preparation Phase  

- Ensure all materials are ready: natural ingredients (e.g., turmeric, indigo leaves, etc.), fabric, buckets, strainers, etc.  

- Check safety tools: gloves, covered work area, etc.

2. Concept & Planning  

- Ask students to focus on the trainer’s explanation.  

- Guide them to manage the dye sources and label them properly.

3. Process Monitoring  

- Monitor safe use of dyes and soaking techniques.  

- Wear gloves and handle all tools/materials carefully.

4. Hygiene & Facility Use  

- Strictly prohibit rinsing fabrics or dye materials in the toilet area.  

- Use only the designated washing/rinsing stations.  

- Ensure the workspace remains clean and organized.
