Mrs. Schaefer

Greetings Shawnee families!  My name is Karen Schaefer.  I am principal of Shawnee Jr. Sr. High School.  I have been principal here for the past seven years.  Before that I was Director of Student Services, a 6th grade self-contained teacher and an elementary special education teacher.  I am looking forward to a great year here at Shawnee.  We have an excellent staff of motivated, caring professionals.  I encourage you to reach out and stay in touch with your child's teachers, Director of Student Services and myself throughout their educational journey.  I look forward to working with you as a member of our team to support your child's education.  Periodically, I will post announcements on this page.  If you have provided an email address, I will also send them out in that format.
