About me

With 23 years of varied experiences on the pedagogical front covering right from class room teaching, notes preparation, drafting and upgrading syllabus for different courses from time to time, interacting with University bodies for affiliation and renewal thereon, implementing semester examination, evaluation and other related procedures as per University norms, on-line assessment of Faculty performance, followed by necessary orientation and skill/competency upgradation programs, management and monitoring of fixed assets with regard to stocks of books, DVDs and equipments falling under library and laboratory, preparation and adherence to SOPs, collection, collation, compilation and presentation of periodical and quality reports and a host of related academic services in leading educational institutions, I have secured an enviable position in my own sphere and I am currently employed as an Assistant Professor,in the Department of Visual Communication at Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for Women.

I have rendered my valuable services in renowned institutions such as Arena Multimedia (A division of Aptech), D.G.Vaishnav College, Alpha Arts and Science College, Corbys Software Technologies, Canam Educational Consultants.

To my credit, I have obtained M.Phil in Mass Communication in the year 2007 from Mother Teresa University after completing M.A. Mass Communication and Journalism from Alagappa University in the year 2006. I did my graduation in B.A. Literature just out of mere passion from The Ethiraj College in 1995.

I have conducted seminars, refresher courses, prepared study materials, Question papers for Annamalai University and Colleges affiliated to Madras Universities every now and then. I have also been invited as an External Auditor, Examiner for Media Departments in various colleges.

I have always been keen and instrumental in the growth and success of the educational institution that I work for.
