Complete your inventory as soon as possible (but no later than 6/17 - since there are restrictions on the amount of people and duration people can be in the school, please be proactive and use this spreadsheet to report when you are in the building (adhering to the safety procedures described in the spreadsheet)
NOTE: Inventory for textbooks and trade books that students have during off-site instruction do not need to be recorded. You should, however, have a record of the books students have signed out; we will conduct this portion of inventory in the fall (after these materials have been "decontaminated").
To ensure all school-owned property (i.e. textbooks, iPads/iPad chargers, and laptops) is recovered, we are having a final materials exchange on 6/11 between 9am and 11am. (The reason for this date is so that we have enough time to coordinate a bus run to each student who was not able to come to the school on 6/11). In additional to receiving enrichment materials, students will also be provided with their belongings that were left in lockers (which our custodial staff is bagging and labeling beginning on 6/1 - teachers of 5th and 6th grade students should reach out to Glen to provide him with the keys to personal locks that students used).
Please prepare and coordinate with grade-level colleagues enrichment materials (these will not be returned for assessment) for 6/11, 6/12 and 6/15 (since continuity of instruction must be provided over this time period - as per NYSED requirements - and students will be returning iPads/books/laptops on 6/11); these materials should be contained in a single folder, labeled by the each student's name, placed in the appropriate section on the tables located in the visitor entrance hallway, and alphabetized no later than 6/10.
Please sign up by 6/5 for a role in the "final materials exchange" on 6/11 (secondary) and 6/12 (elementary), using this spreadsheet.
Grades and comments are due in eSchool by 11:59pm on 6/16. Follow the policies and procedures provided.
A full day of professional development is planned for 6/16 - this will be provided virtually by BOCES. Additionally guidance will be provided in the next couple of weeks.
Please return the completed inventories & the checklist by e-mailto Mrs. Courtney Keller no later than Wednesday, June 17, 2020. (Don't forget to complete your summer contact information at the bottom of the checklist).
Return your plan books (if they are not digitized) to the front desk by 6/17.
Return your keys to the main office by 6/17
