A Bit About Me

I am fortunate to teach Special Education at Sharon Springs Central School (SSCS). Depending on the year, I am provided the opportunity to work with wonderful students from kindergarten to twelfth grade in a variety of settings and roles. I have worked as a Consultant Teacher, pushing into core classes and/or providing indirect assistance to students/teachers, a Resource Room teacher over many grade levels, a teacher of specialized classes in both ELA and math, and a Response to Intervention (RTI) teacher of both ELA and math. My goal is to push each student to work to their fullest potential, help them access the curriculum, reteach and review so they are as successful as they can be, teach them how to be organized and/or how to study for a test. Each student has the ability to learn, they just need to see the intrinsic benefits of learning and reach toward becoming their best self! Whether the student chooses to learn is totally up to him/her!
