What do I do if my Chromebook screen turns black?

First, you should plug in your Chromebook in case it ran out of battery. If that does not work, watch this video

What do I do if my Chromebook freezes?

Follow all of these steps below. If they do not unfreeze your Chromebook, please visit the tech office. First press “CTRL” + “SHIFT” + “R” to refresh the screen. If this does not unfreeze your Chromebook, power off your Chromebook by pressing the power button. If this does not work, you need to force shut down your computer. To do this, press and hold the refresh(the arrow that is going in a circle[↺]) and power button until your Chromebook turns off. This can take anywhere up to a minute. If this fails, please visit the tech office

What do I do if the printer isn’t working/my computer won’t print?

If you are printing on a Chromebook, make sure that you are using Mobility Print and not accidentally saving what you are trying to print as a PDF. Watch this video for instructions on how to print

What do I do if the interactive whiteboard pen is not working?

First, make sure that the white plug underneath the computer is connected. If not, try plugging it in. If there is no white plug there, please visit the Tech Office to have one installed. If the white plug underneath is connected and the pen is still not working, contact the Tech Office or Help Desk to fix the issue

What do I do if the school WiFi is not working?

If your WiFi while at school is not working, the first thing you should do is turn the WiFi off and then turn it back on. If this does not work, restart your computer. If you still cannot connect to the WiFi, visit the Tech Office
