Question: What can I do if a student's Chromebook screen turns black?
Answer: First, plug in the Chromebook in case it ran out of battery. If that does not work, watch this video
Question: What can I do if a student's Chromebook freezes?
Answer: Follow all of these steps below. If they do not unfreeze the Chromebook, please reach out to tech. First press “CTRL” + “SHIFT” + “R” to refresh the screen. If this does not unfreeze the Chromebook, power it off by pressing the power button. If this does not work, you need to force shut down the device. To do this, press and hold the refresh(the arrow that is going in a circle[↺]) and power button until the Chromebook turns off. This can take anywhere up to a minute. If this fails, please reach out to Tech.
Question: The interactive whiteboard pen is not working
Answer: First, make sure that the white plug underneath the computer is connected. If not, try plugging it in. If there is no white plug there, please visit the Tech Office to have one installed. If the white plug underneath is connected and the pen is still not working, reach out to Tech or email the corresponding help email on the home page.
Question: My school WiFi is not working
Answer: If your WiFi while at school is not working, the first thing you should do is turn the WiFi off and then turn it back on. If this does not work, restart your computer. If you still cannot connect to the WiFi, reach out to Tech.
