The Foundation Edson for Economic and Social Development (FEEDS) promotes sustainable, inclusive, and equitable economic growth by placing people at the center of its work. Its mission is to support local initiatives, strengthen the capacities of youth and rural communities, and build an economy that drives social progress. FEEDS envisions resilient societies where economic development fuels social justice, innovation, and community empowerment.
The foundation focuses on strengthening local economies, supporting entrepreneurship, and helping small and medium enterprises through training, mentorship, and financing. It advances inclusive social development by improving access to education, healthcare, and vocational training while reducing poverty through income‑generating projects. FEEDS also empowers young people through leadership and entrepreneurship programs, and it promotes sustainable rural development by modernizing agriculture, encouraging regenerative practices, and improving access to water, energy, and basic infrastructure. Through advocacy and partnerships, the organization works to influence public policy and uphold transparent, participatory governance.
Guided by the values of equity, engagement, sustainability, solidarity, and innovation, FEEDS serves young entrepreneurs, students, rural women, community‑based small businesses, agricultural and social cooperatives, and institutional development partners.
