What if I suspect that a student is experiencing homelessness?

• Contact the principal, the guidance counselor, and Dr. Hoffert in Student Services

• Maintain a relationship with the student and engage them whenever possible

• Maintain or attempt contact with the parent

• Develop an Outreach Plan in order to inform the family of services

Outreach Plans may Include:

- Phone Calls

- Meetings with parents

- Meetings with students

- Distribution of informational material

- Communication with other siblings schools
