I currently teach 6th grade global studies at Wilson West Middle School. I grew up in Douglassville, PA and graduated from Daniel Boone High School in 2010. I completed my undergraduate degree in secondary education social studies at Millersville University in 2014.
Upon graduation I started my teaching career, which took me to different high schools and middle schools in York, Montgomery, Lancaster, Chester, and Berks counties teaching social studies, library science, and English. Most recently before coming to Wilson, I taught 7th grade US history at Governor Mifflin Middle School from 2019-2024. I completed my MEd in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on school leadership and my principal certification through Kutztown University in 2020.
When not at school, I love spending time with my husband, son, and our dog. I can often be found working out, reading a good book, or enjoying all things Philadelphia sports.
