I started my career right after college (go Owls!) as a reporter and writer for The Associated Press. Wanting to grow, I took a break from writing to earn a Master's Degree and ended up becoming certified to teach high school simultaneously. I taught high school English for 12 years and college-level composition courses for nine more. I have been a high school gifted support teacher at Wilson since January of 2018 and have loved every minute of it. I am so happy to be working with the gifted and talented students of Wilson High, and I am so happy to be a Bulldog!
