How many parent letters can I submit per school year?
Parents or Guardians may submit up to ten (10) parent letters per school year. Any absences after those ten would require a note from a licensed healthcare provider.
Do I still need to submit a parent letter or doctor's note if I call in and report my student absent?
Yes. We appreciate the courtesy of the phone call to make us aware of your student's absence. However, the school does still require the submission of a parent or doctor's note.
Our family has an educational trip planned that will exceed the school's policy of 5 days. How will that affect my child's attendance?
Families can request approval for 5 excused absences for an educational trip; any additional days where your student(s) are absent for this educational trip would be considered unexcused and designated accordingly in our attendance system.
