Wilson World Language Scholars Association

The purpose of the Scholars Association is to recognize the outstanding language achievements that students have accomplished during their time here at Wilson.

To be inducted as a member, a student must meet the following requirements:

        A. be in 11th or 12th grade

        B. be in level III or higher of a language

        C. have an A average (90%) in the language you are studying (including last year)

        D. have a recommendation from a language teacher

        E. have completed 5 World Language service hours

As a member of the Wilson World Languages Scholars Association, a student will have the opportunity to become more involved as a leader with the language(s) he or she is studying.

In addition to the academic recognition, we hope that each student will use your language experience and skills to encourage younger students to pursue culture and language.

Students may have the opportunity to work one-on-one with students beginning a language, or to work alongside a language teacher in their classroom in order to earn the ten required service hours.
