About Mrs. Witmoyer

Teaching is a second career for me. I graduated from Bucknell University in 1981 with a BA in Economics. Immediately after college, I went to the University of Pittsburgh and graduated in 1982 with an MBA in Finance. I worked for 2 years as a Financial Analyst in West Virginia and for 17 years in the banking industry. While I enjoyed my career in banking, something was missing. I enjoyed working with kids and decided to go back to school and get my secondary teaching certification in mathematics. I got my teaching certification and Master’s Degree in Education from Alvernia University. I am currently working towards another Master's Degree in Teaching Secondary Mathematics through Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

In addition to being a math teacher, I am the junior class advisor and a co-advisor for Leo Club and Spirit Club. I have coached cheerleading at various levels over the years. I love spending time at our cabin in the mountains, camping in our RV, working out and vacationing in Ocean City, New Jersey.

I am very excited for the 2021-22 school year and look forward to meeting and working with all of my students. This year I am teaching CP Pre-Calculus and CP Statistics.
