Hi! My name is Jayme Raffauf and I am teaching 7th grade Math on the White team this year. This is my 18th year of teaching, and my second year at Wilson Southern MS. I am so excited to be here!
I am a 2000 graduate of Wilson High School and I bleed red and white through and through. Before heading off to college, I was active duty in the US Army. I was a Chaplain's Assistant in the 82nd Airborne Division stationed at Fort Bragg. I was active duty for 4 years and did one deployment overseas in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Once out of the Army, I returned home to attend college. I graduated from Kutztown University in 2008 with a degree in Secondary Education Mathematics. I also have a Master's Degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University.
I am married to my husband Justin, who teaches Science at Wilson High School. We have two sons, Austin and Colton. Austin is 11 and in 6th grade at Southern, and Colton is 6 and in 1st grade at CT this year.
I am a huge sports fan, I love music, I am a huge reader, and I love the beach. My favorite thing of all is spending time with my family. I am so looking forward to a great year on staff at Wilson Southern!
