Mrs. Asplen

 Hello. My name is Jennifer Asplen and I am the Primary Autistic Support Teacher at Spring Ridge Elementary. I am certified in Elementary and Special Education and have my M. Ed. in Special Education from Penn State University and my M. Ed. in Applied Studies in Teaching and Learning from West Chester University. I have been teaching and working in elementary and special education since 1995.  This is my 18th year at Wilson. My focus has been supporting students to be their best. We work hard at Spring Ridge individualizing each student's program to match his/her strengths and needs. We have a super team of teachers, support staff, related service providers and building staff.  YOU are the biggest part of our team! Communication is the key to creating a happy and productive school experience. Thank you for all you do.

My husband Mark and I live in Colony Park with our two daughters, Cecilia (grad student at Alvernia for Occupational Therapy) and Sarah (senior at West Chester for nursing).  I enjoy keeping busy, laughing and learning new things.  Every day is always a new adventure!
